Senior Resident Engineer – Civil & Structural

About the role

The Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) will lead the supervision of complex, major building construction projects in Singapore. You will apply deep civil and structural engineering expertise to ensure quality, safety, and compliance across works such as deep excavation, viaducts, foundation systems, and ground improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural works on major projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Lead project teams in delivering construction supervision for deep excavation, viaducts, foundation systems, and ground improvement.
• Manage site activities to meet timelines, quality targets, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, including airside work environment requirements when applicable.
• Review and approve construction methods and materials for structural integrity and safety.
• Document and report progress, challenges, and compliance status to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Experience working in airside environments and understanding related operational requirements.
• At least one completed project as a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer.
• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience.
