Senior Sales Engineer (AI Orchestration)

About the role

As a Senior Sales Engineer you will demonstrate the value of Camunda’s AI‑driven orchestration platform and guide organisations through the evaluation of core business process automation. You will partner with Account Executives and Solution Architects to run proofs of concept, answer technical questions and help close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Map customer requirements to Camunda’s product portfolio and quantify business value.
• Develop tailored evaluation plans, demos and code snippets for prospects.
• Conduct product demos, Q&A sessions and support RFI/RFP responses.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to shape sales strategies and drive opportunities.
• Organise and execute pre‑sales engagements, including proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Create and maintain technical pre‑sales content and artifacts.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation – degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven sales‑engineering or pre‑sales experience with a deep understanding of sales cycles and value‑based selling.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent English (C1/C2) and a regional language; willingness to travel occasionally.
