Senior Security Officer

About the role

The Senior Security Officer will safeguard the Carlton Hotel’s assets, ensure guest safety, and act as a Service Ambassador to deliver a memorable experience. This full‑time, on‑site position requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and occasional ad‑hoc deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform shift work, including weekends, public holidays and ad‑hoc deployments.
• Conduct random checks at security checkpoints to prevent pilferage.
• Identify and report suspicious activities to superiors.
• Enforce traffic regulations and address illegal parking.
• Carry out basic Fire Command Centre duties.
• Provide witness and bank escort services.
• Monitor lobby, driveway, CCTV, and perform VIP escorts.
• Handle lost‑and‑found items and respond to safe/door lock issues.
• Conduct basic investigations and assist guests or staff during incidents.
• Patrol the property, exchange security passes, and neutralise conflicts or criminal activities.
• Inspect contractor work, report safety hazards and structural deficiencies.

Required profile

• GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant security operations experience.
• Possession of a valid Security Officer License and relevant PWM module certificates.
• Responsible, disciplined, motivated and able to lead by example.
