Senior Staff Consulting Architect – AI

About the role

Nutanix is looking for a Senior Staff Consulting Architect specialized in AI solutions and architecture. The role blends AI, Kubernetes, virtualization and hybrid‑cloud expertise to design secure, scalable, production‑ready solutions for enterprise customers across APJ.

Key responsibilities

• Drive workshops to capture AI requirements and design enterprise architectures using the Nutanix platform.
• Create high‑level and detailed solution designs for AI and Kubernetes workloads across private, public and hybrid clouds.
• Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops and transformation roadmaps with senior customer stakeholders.
• Architect GPU‑enabled Kubernetes platforms for model deployment, inference, RAG and enterprise AI workloads.
• Deploy Nutanix solutions in customer environments and act as senior escalation point for complex AI, Kubernetes, virtualization and cloud challenges.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, design patterns, implementation guides and consulting IP.
• Mentor staff consulting architects and consultants, strengthening regional technical capability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, support and solutions teams to provide field feedback and influence product direction.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, Kubernetes and AI/ML, with recent hands‑on AI solution design and deployment.
• Proven track record designing hybrid‑cloud and multi‑cloud architectures and strong understanding of GPU infrastructure.
• Excellent customer‑facing, consulting and executive communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

Required skills

• AI/ML platforms, GenAI, RAG, model serving, MLOps/LLMOps.
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), containerization, Nutanix AHV or equivalent virtualization.
• GPU technologies (NVIDIA), hybrid‑cloud, multi‑cloud, networking, storage, security.
• Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, GitOps, APIs.
• Public‑cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
