Senior System Product Manager, Reserve & Risk Management (1-Year Contract)

About the role

The IT Department of MAS manages and delivers IT applications serving the financial industry and MAS users. You will join the Central Banking & Development Platforms division, which manages the systems supporting the reserves and risk management systems. This is a 1-year contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of on-premise applications, ensuring performance and security, and assess on-premise security needs and control frameworks.
• Design and implement configuration management strategies, including virtualisation for on-premise hosting, and write scripts and templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and application updates.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment processes, including test automation integration.
• Foster a DevOps culture, promote continuous learning and maintain Agile workflows.
• Provide application development support by creating resources and tools that improve developer productivity.
• Set up logging, tracing and metrics solutions, build reports based on SLIs, SLOs and SLAs, and adopt modern network operations practices for incident management.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in on-premise hosted application software engineering.
• Ability to combine IT operations knowledge with machine learning and automation for alert and incident management.
• Experience forecasting product resource needs, load testing, identifying bottlenecks and handling traffic spikes.
• Proven ability to promote DevOps and Agile practices within teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Understanding of the SDLC and DevSecOps tools.
• CI/CD principles and deployment pipelines, including blue-green releases and feature flags.
• Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog and the ELK stack for metrics, logs and traces.
• Technical content and support systems for development teams.
