Senior Talent Partner – Technical Partnerships & Business Development

About the role

As a Senior Talent Partner you will lead the full‑cycle hiring process for technical partnership, business development, research and engineering roles, shaping CuspAI’s world‑class team that drives AI‑powered materials breakthroughs.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for technical partnerships, business development, researchers, engineers and applied scientists.
• Design and implement sourcing strategies to attract world‑class talent with PhDs and deep‑tech backgrounds from AI labs, academia and spin‑offs.
• Partner with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions, define assessment criteria and run interview calibration sessions.
• Provide data‑driven market insights on compensation, talent availability and DEIB metrics, and maintain rigorous ATS data hygiene.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on recruiting experience for senior technical partnership or scientific business development roles in AI‑driven materials science, computational chemistry or physics research organisations.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous start‑up or scale‑up environments and build recruitment processes from scratch.
• Strong curiosity and stakeholder management skills, able to ask deep “why” questions and guide hiring teams.
• Passion for the intersection of AI and science, and ability to articulate the mission of combating climate change.
