Senior Tax Analyst

About the role

Riot Games is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its Asia Tax department in Singapore, supporting the SEA region. The role focuses on tax compliance, process improvement, and advisory support across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings for SEA legal entities, leveraging AI and technology to improve efficiency.
• Manage direct tax (withholding tax, income tax instalments) and indirect tax (VAT/GST/Digital Service Tax) compliance for Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and other SEA countries.
• Oversee the year‑end tax provision process under US GAAP and reconcile tax accounts from local GAAP to US GAAP.
• Coordinate tax audits, prepare supporting documentation, and defend audit findings.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, treasury and finance teams on contract reviews and provide tax optimisation advice for cross‑border transactions.
• Monitor digital tax developments in major SEA markets and update internal policies accordingly.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements across SEA jurisdictions.
• Strong judgment to evaluate complex tax situations and advise business stakeholders.
• Experience reporting to senior tax leadership and working in a multinational environment.
