Senior Tax Specialist (APAC)

About the role

The Senior Tax Specialist provides tax advisory support across multiple APAC markets, including Japan, Korea, Guam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea. Based in Singapore, the role works closely with APAC regional leadership and the broader Finance organization to deliver timely and consistent tax guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory support on business transactions, operational initiatives, and tax‑related matters across APAC markets.
• Identify, assess, and recommend solutions to mitigate tax risks and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Conduct tax liability research, interpret legislation, and support tax examinations and appeals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (CBS, FP&A) and external tax advisors to align tax strategies with business objectives.
• Strengthen institutional knowledge and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in tax advisory, compliance, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional finance teams and external advisors.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations in APAC jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
