Senior Teacher Trainer & Mentor

About the role

Fuku is looking for a Senior Teacher Trainer & Mentor in Singapore. The role trains and mentors early-career teachers, supporting them in their day-to-day teaching and helping them build confidence and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training and orientation programmes for early-career teachers.
• Mentor and coach teachers on lesson planning, classroom management, student engagement and assessment, including marking and giving constructive feedback.
• Observe lessons and give constructive feedback, and advise on teaching approaches for Primary and Secondary students.
• Help teachers handle different student abilities, learning styles and classroom situations, and manage students and parents.
• Develop simple teaching resources, training materials and best-practice guidelines where needed.
• Work with the Academic Management team to identify teacher development needs and provide ongoing coaching during employment.

Required profile

• MOE teacher or experienced Singapore educator preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Singapore schools or equivalent educational experience.
• Strong understanding of Primary and/or Secondary education in Singapore.
• Experience mentoring, supervising or training junior teachers is highly desirable.
• Patient, approachable and passionate about developing the next generation of teachers.
