Senior Technician

About the role

The Senior Electro‑Mechanical Technician will work closely with the Electrical Engineer to support projects and ensure the reliable operation of production plant equipment, lighting and power installations. This role combines routine maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and improvement (M&I) on plant equipment, lighting systems and power installations.
• Execute repair and upgrade work as required.
• Calibrate, maintain and repair pneumatic and electronic instruments.
• Carry out bench‑fitting jobs and update schematics, single‑line diagrams and PLC programmes.
• Maintain tools and test instruments in good condition.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Undertake any other duties assigned from time to time.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• NTC‑2 Electrical Installation and Servicing certification with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, electrical diagrams and writing PLC programmes.
• Basic workshop practice and ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Arc welding and TIG welding skills are a plus.
