Analytical Support Officer

About the role

The Analytical Support Officer ensures that analytical equipment and computer systems in quality laboratories are installed, validated, calibrated and maintained in line with regulatory and quality standards. The role supports laboratory infrastructure to guarantee accurate analysis of raw materials, intermediates and final products under cGMP, safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate analytical equipment according to site procedures, ATS and regulatory requirements.
• Lead investigations of equipment or computer‑system events and propose CAPA actions.
• Perform periodic validation reviews and conduct equipment validation activities.
• Manage change control and access control for computer systems and laboratory equipment.
• Assess impact of equipment or system changes and update documentation promptly.
• Review, revise and maintain laboratory procedures, methods and instructions.
• Ensure a safe 6S‑compliant laboratory environment.
• Provide training on equipment, computer systems and related procedures.

Required profile

• Science degree with experience in chemical, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments, or a science diploma with >5 years relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, ATS, ICH guidelines and laboratory compliance.
• Proven ability to work in a team, communicate effectively and manage investigations.
