About the role
The Senior Technician is responsible for maintaining plant equipment through preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring high availability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out equipment maintenance works according to preventive and breakdown schedules.
- Complete timely preventive maintenance and document all work performed.
- Ensure maintenance is completed on time to maintain high equipment availability.
- Lead continuous process and operational improvement programs.
- Perform equipment troubleshooting with the team or contractors.
- Act as a Competent Person under the Permit To Work system.
- Participate in risk assessment activities for the Maintenance department.
- Undertake any other ad‑hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience (preferred).
- Positive attitude and strong team‑player mindset.
- Willingness to work shifts and at multiple sites.
- Readiness to work beyond normal hours to meet plant operational needs.
