Senior Transport Consultant

About the role

Ramboll Singapore is looking for an experienced Senior Transport Consultant to join its Transport team. You will deliver transport consultancy for high-profile projects in Singapore, covering transport planning, engineering and studies, and support the team in pursuing new opportunities locally.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and manage transport planning and engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Provide technical expertise for transport studies such as Transport Impact Assessments, transport planning and transport design and engineering projects.
• Develop transport strategies and solutions aligned with project goals and regulations such as LTA COP and guidelines.
• Carry out detailed transport analysis, including traffic modelling, demand forecasting and impact assessment.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transport planning with urban development, environmental sustainability and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and present reports, proposals and presentations to clients, stakeholders and regulators.
• Mentor junior consultants and stay up to date with industry trends and best practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience on transport projects in Singapore, with knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and transport policies.
• Proven experience managing and delivering TIA, transport design review and modelling projects.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing several projects and deadlines.
• Professional certification (e.g. PE, CEng) or membership in a professional body is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SIDRA, Vissim/Visum, AutoTurn and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical information to diverse audiences.
