Senior Vice President – Technical Delivery Manager (Group Technology)

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Technical Delivery Manager will lead the end‑to‑end execution and technical delivery of banking projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline and budget while complying with regulatory requirements. This role collaborates closely with vendors, technology teams and business users to drive innovative solutions that support the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for the successful execution and technical delivery of projects that meet scope, timeline and budget, complying with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive data, design and solution discussions with vendors, technology teams and user groups.
• Lead multi‑vendor teams to deliver solutions and support the bank’s commitments.
• Provide status updates to the Project Manager and partner with Solution and Enterprise Architects to deliver technical innovations.
• Ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards.
• Work with Test Manager to formulate comprehensive system test plans aligned with project scope and quality targets.
• Identify, raise and proactively manage risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
• Manage relationships across business lines and external parties, organising governance meetings and handling escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Technical Manager in banking or financial services.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale, multi‑interface applications across the region.
• Hands‑on experience with full Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder‑management abilities, able to coordinate multiple parties in a diverse organization.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
