Service & Commissioning Engineer – Power Generation

About the role

The Service & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation, start‑up and commissioning of power generation equipment across industrial, marine and offshore projects. This contract role is based in Jurong West with occasional overseas travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out application and installation inspection at job sites.
• Liaise with customers and project engineers.
• Prepare, start‑up and commission generators, pump sets and marine propulsion engines on vessels, offshore platforms and land installations.
• Support workshop mechanical and electrical works, including testing of generators and rental operations as required.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in power generation packaging for industrial, marine, electric power or oil & gas sectors.
• Willingness to travel overseas for commissioning projects when needed.
