Service Technician – Heavy Machinery Maintenance

About the role

The Service Technician is responsible for delivering daily maintenance, after‑sales service and repair of heavy machinery, primarily Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) such as boom lifts, scissors lifts, telehandlers and mast lifts. The role supports agents, customers and the China Representative Engineer/Sales team to ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on arriving and in‑service vehicles.
• Provide on‑site technical support and after‑sales service for agents and customers.
• Execute proactive rectifications, troubleshoot faults, and collect relevant information for product line improvements.
• Conduct regular customer visits and vehicle inspections to verify performance.
• Ensure timely availability of accessories, meet sales targets for accessories, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit accurate service reports within required timeframes.
• Maintain housekeeping, EHS standards and adhere to safety regulations and industry quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical/industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Background in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production engineering preferred.
• Experience in heavy‑industry or equipment maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English; basic Mandarin communication is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy and a disciplined, team‑oriented attitude.
