Service Technician (Lifting Equipment)

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician specialised in lifting equipment to join our team across Singapore. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing hydraulic and mechanical lifting systems on trucks and at customer sites, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair lifting equipment, including lorry cranes, hooklifts, tailgates and waste systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical problems and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Carry out routine maintenance, breakdown repairs and test equipment after repairs to confirm safe operation.
• Assist with installing lifting equipment onto trucks and install hydraulic hoses, pipes and fittings.
• Perform basic fitting, drilling and assembly work as required.
• Attend customer sites for scheduled servicing and emergency breakdowns, including after‑hours calls.
• Complete detailed service reports after each job and maintain a clean, organised workshop.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Required profile

• ITE, NITEC or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing hydraulic lifting equipment.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence (Class 4 is an advantage).
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and respond to breakdown calls, including after working hours when assigned.
• Applicants with varying levels of relevant experience are welcome; salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from SGD 1,800 to SGD 2,900 per month, based on experience.
• Standard working hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am‑12:00 pm with a one‑hour lunch break.
