Shipping Executive – Import/Export Logistics

About the role

The Shipping Executive will manage end‑to‑end import and export operations for a pharmaceutical company. You will coordinate orders from purchase order to delivery, ensuring timely and compliant shipments across sea, air and land.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate orders from PO issuance to final delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to guarantee smooth shipments.
• Arrange sea, air, and land shipments with freight forwarders or shipping lines.
• Prepare and verify shipping and trade documents such as invoices, packing lists, permits, bills of lading, certificates of origin, insurance, and letters of credit.
• Track shipment status and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain accurate filing and records of all shipping documents.
• Assist with supplier invoice processing, payment documentation, and expense reconciliation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a trading company, logistics, or import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping, and banking terms such as L/C, DA/DP.
• Familiarity with freight booking, customs clearance processes, and coordination with shipping agents.
• Basic accounting knowledge is an advantage.
