Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Site Engineer will support daily execution of construction works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to design specifications. You will act as the on‑site liaison between subcontractors, consultants, and the internal team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and the project schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams for smooth execution.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to meet project standards.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting on‑site problems.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and site safety procedures.
• Review and verify as‑built drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate material and resource requirements to support construction schedules.
• Liaise with relevant authorities and consultants as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of site experience in civil/building construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on‑site and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
• Proactive team player attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (advantage).
