Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Engineer will support the Project Manager in overseeing site works and managing manpower throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures that construction activities meet quality, safety and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review the master construction programme and develop catch‑up schedules when needed.
• Supervise engineers and foremen, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards.
• Check the quality and quantity of subcontractors’ work and resolve drawing discrepancies with the technical team.
• Prepare detailed method statements, work instructions and site programmes for the execution team.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and internal departments to meet material, equipment and manpower demands.
• Liaise with consultants on structural work submissions and ensure safety practices are followed on site.
• Identify schedule‑impacting issues early and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience on building or civil/infrastructure projects.
