Site Engineer – Night Shift Construction

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate all night‑shift construction activities at our project site in Singapore. The role ensures that works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements, and that progress aligns with the project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nightly construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements and WSH requirements.
• Plan and coordinate daily/nightly work with subcontractors, supervisors and workers, and monitor progress against the schedule.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare progress reports, and maintain proper site records.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines to resolve site issues and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Ensure adequate manpower, materials, equipment and machinery are available for night works.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Site Engineer on Singapore construction projects, preferably in building, civil or infrastructure works.
• Willingness and ability to work permanent or scheduled night shifts and to operate under tight construction schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (advantageous).
• Relevant construction safety certification such as BCSS/CSCPM (advantageous).
