Site GPS Lead - Vaccines Manufacturing

About the role

GSK manufactures and supplies medicines and vaccines, and its supply chain is central to getting products to patients quickly and safely. This Site GPS Lead role leads the deployment and embedding of the GSK Production System (GPS) at the Tuas Vaccines site, reporting to the Site Director and working closely with the Site Leadership Team to drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, service and cost. The role is on-site in Singapore with hybrid working to be agreed with site leadership, and requires regular time on the manufacturing floor and attendance at in-person leadership and GPS council meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of GPS practitioners and the Smart Manufacturing team to deploy GPS and build capability across the site.
• Work with site leadership to turn strategy into focused GPS workstreams and measurable targets.
• Run site self-assessments against GPS maturity matrices and lead action plans to close gaps.
• Design and deliver training, coaching and hands-on improvement projects to embed continuous improvement.
• Govern site improvement activity through the GPS council, reporting outcomes and tracking benefits.
• Use data, digital tools and analytics to strengthen improvement work and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years leading manufacturing, quality or engineering operations, with proven continuous improvement experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven coaching and capability-building skills, with experience training leaders and teams.
• Experience in project planning, governance and delivering measurable benefits.
• Preferred: degree in a STEM subject, Black Belt certification, experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries, and experience deploying strategy or Hoshin planning at site level.
