About the role
Our client, an elite FinTech firm, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer / Linux Platform Engineer to manage a low‑latency Linux estate. The role blends Linux systems engineering with SRE practices, focusing on automated, scalable deployments across private and public cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and support automated deployment solutions.
- Maintain and optimise low‑latency Linux infrastructure.
- Work on both project initiatives and business‑as‑usual (BAU) tasks, driving automation wherever possible.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliability and performance.
Required profile
- Strong experience with Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible).
- Hands‑on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and container runtimes (Docker or Podman).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and scripting in Python.
