Software Application Developer

About the role

The Software Application Developer will join NETS Solutions’ Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) team. Reporting to the Support/Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing applications, delivering support to customers, and maintaining production systems at L3 level.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirement elicitation and produce technical and operations documentation.
• Collaborate with Solution Architect/Technical Lead to analyse and design code changes.
• Implement code changes, perform unit, system and integration testing, and ensure compliance with coding, security and corporate standards.
• Support internal and external teams during testing phases and resolve issues reported.
• Provide post‑cutover support to customers and assist with training material creation.
• Participate in a duty roster to deliver PROD L3 maintenance as scheduled.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands‑on experience with Java/JEE, SQL/PLSQL and XML.
• Good verbal and written communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player with a positive attitude; experience in financial or payments systems is a plus.
