Software Engineer – Backend Development (Hybrid, Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer/Developer to join our team in Singapore River on a full‑time hybrid basis. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining back‑end systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain back‑end web applications and services.
• Write clean, modular code following Object‑Oriented Programming principles.
• Collaborate with product, UI/UX and QA teams to optimise functionality and performance.
• Test, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing systems to ensure stability and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in back‑end web development and general software development.
• Experience applying Object‑Oriented Programming concepts.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and software testing practices is a plus.
