Software Engineer Intern - Embedded Firmware

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Software Engineer Intern in Embedded Firmware in Singapore. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE partner or customer office. You will join a team that designs, implements, tests and validates software for state-of-the-art networking products.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and gather project requirements, design sub-modules and investigate accordingly
• Identify risk factors and mitigate them
• Debug issues and derive fixes, then close them with the relevant parties
• Take part in technical discussions and share technical proposals, justifications and regular progress updates with the team lead and manager
• Deliver assigned tasks on time and ensure high-quality work

Required profile

• Able to start in January and commit for a minimum of 20 weeks
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent program
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and eager to learn
• Ability to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Solid understanding of software development principles
• Experience with software development tools and processes
• Knowledge of C programming
• Interest and ability to investigate issues and develop solutions
