About the role
CSIT offers a 2-4 month Software Engineering internship in IT applications, open to undergraduate and pre-university students. You will design and develop systems and applications that support business workflows and information management, and explore proof-of-concept technologies for software development, data management and information processing. You will work closely under the guidance of a mentor to deliver a product that meets user requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop a system, application or proof-of-concept based on the project scope
- Document the findings of the technologies explored
- Present your product to management and users
Required profile
- Undergraduate or pre-university student
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript and Python
Required skills
- Java, JavaScript and Python
- Added advantage: design patterns in Java, frameworks such as React JS, Vue and SpringBoot, and enterprise search such as Elastic Search
- Added advantage: knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MS SQL, MongoDB and MinIO
