About the role

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Software QA Engineer to join their dynamic team in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, developing and executing test strategies to ensure high‑quality software releases, supporting both functional and automated testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases and regression test suites.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API and smoke testing across the software development lifecycle.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and assisting users.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Validate application releases and ensure quality standards before deployment.
• Support continuous testing within Agile development and CI/CD environments.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with strong hands‑on automation testing.
• Experience designing and maintaining QA automation frameworks.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Newman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and verification.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management and Agile practices.
