Software Test Engineer – IVVQ & Cloud Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer specialized in Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) to support our cloud‑native transportation solutions. The role combines hands‑on testing, system integration and deployment of telecom and IT infrastructure in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the IVVQ Manager to ensure requirements are testable and maintain full V&V traceability.
• Prepare test resources, develop verification procedures, compile result documents, manage deviations and record outcomes.
• Perform integration and factory acceptance testing of telecom subsystems, communicate with customers and deliver reports.
• Deploy, configure and manage IT infrastructure including servers, storage, network devices and cloud‑based solutions.
• Configure software and hardware, implement integration solutions using APIs, micro‑services and SOA.
• Provide troubleshooting, develop tools and support incident resolution.
• Execute on‑prem data‑center deployments, network solutions (firewalls), cyber‑security solutions and related IVVQ testing.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering (essential).
• Preferably a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience in manual/automated testing, and configuration/management of IT infrastructure.

• Linux operating systems and VMware ESX fundamentals.
• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud computing concepts.
• Networking protocols, virtualization and IT automation (Ansible).
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, Perl.
• Test management tools, JIRA, SVN.
