Applied AI Engineer (Agentic AI & ML)

About the role

We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to work closely with our business units and thermal‑asset operations teams. You will own AI solutions from discovery through production, turning real‑world problems into reliable, cost‑saving applications.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with stakeholders to identify high‑value AI use cases and translate ambiguous problems into deliverable solutions.
• Design and build production‑grade agentic AI systems using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and tool/function calling.
• Architect multi‑agent workflows, including MCP servers, sub‑agents, and custom enterprise integrations.
• Develop secure, scalable backend APIs and services (C#/.NET) to support AI workloads.
• Own, maintain, and improve production ML/DL models, retraining and tuning as data evolves.
• Deploy and operate applications and models on Azure/GCP with proper authentication, logging, and monitoring.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, and build evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and observability for non‑deterministic AI systems.
• Codify reusable patterns and feed field learnings back into platform and roadmap decisions.

Required profile

• Delivery‑oriented with a strong machine‑learning foundation.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and motivated by business impact.
• Experience in forecasting, predictive maintenance, or time‑series modelling is a plus.
