Sr. Director, Technology BU Interface - International (Orthopaedics)

About the role

DePuy Synthes, the standalone orthopaedics company being established by Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting a Sr. Director, Technology BU Interface - International. Based in Singapore (Leeds also mentioned), the role is the senior technology executive and strategic partner to the President of International and the regional leadership teams across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, Canada and emerging markets. It manages demand, prioritization and execution of technology and data across the international value chain, reporting solid-line to DePuy Synthes Technology leadership and with a dotted-line partnership to the President, International.

Key responsibilities

• Act as end-to-end technology leader for the international region, coordinating with the global Technology organization, CTO and CISO, and driving digital, data and AI capabilities aligned to regional growth.
• Serve as technology advisor to the President, International and the regional leadership team, translating business strategy into technology and digital roadmaps, investment priorities and governance decisions.
• Own regional technology demand management, prioritization and portfolio health, keeping delivery commitments, risks and dependencies visible to regional and enterprise leadership.
• Enable digital sales, marketing, pricing, channel and customer engagement, and lead technology capabilities for inventory visibility, demand sensing, forecasting, replenishment and logistics.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering and R&D to modernize operational technology, product lifecycle and new-product-introduction capabilities.
• Balance local market needs with enterprise standards, support localization requirements, and work with the Global Capability Center to share engineering, data and operations capacity.
• Ensure reliable, secure and scalable regional infrastructure, network, cloud and connectivity, and own the end-user computing and workplace technology experience.
• Deliver executive dashboards and analytics, strengthen data quality and governance, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, SOX, quality and regulatory expectations.
• Manage technology investments, budgets and benefits realization, and build business cases and funding recommendations.
• Lead talent development, adoption plans and communications for major initiatives, and own the international technology dimension of separation and standalone readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, operations, commercial technology, business transformation or related leadership roles.
• Minimum 7 years of senior leadership experience, including direct or matrixed leadership of global cross-functional teams, programs or portfolios.
• Proven experience as an end-to-end technology leader across multiple functions or international markets, partnering with senior business executives.
• Ability to manage complex global priorities, competing stakeholder demands, financial trade-offs and delivery risks.
• Strong executive presence, communication and influencing skills.
• Willingness to work across key DePuy Synthes locations and to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred skills

• MedTech, healthcare, commercial, supply chain, R&D, product lifecycle or global operations acumen.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, PLM, analytics, business intelligence, AI, automation, digital product, collaboration and enterprise productivity platforms.
• Experience with global service delivery models such as GCCs, shared services and managed-services partnerships.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation, divestiture or operating-model change, including TSA execution and exit.
