The role leads complex experiments and acts as a technical contributor who can lead teams, sites and suppliers on complex projects.
Key responsibilities
- Own process characterization and recipe/process optimization to meet yield and quality requirements for advanced NAND technologies.
- Quantify benefits of new chemistries, process sequences or equipment changes and drive early adoption to improve margin and manufacturability.
- Independently lead experiments to widen process windows and validate next-node solutions.
- Lead cross-functional troubleshooting and integration to improve yield and quality, and coordinate with global TD peers on node choices and transfer readiness.
- Drive parts of research, hardware evaluation and novel application testing, and contribute to patents and technical papers where applicable.
- Represent wet process in supplier discussions supporting breakthrough solutions.
- Identify process simplification opportunities, integrate best-known manufacturing methods into early development, and design advanced monitoring and control methodologies.
- Lead quality and yield improvement meetings, ensure clear technical documentation and compliance with IP policy.
- Use AI-assisted tools to streamline workflows and support data-driven decisions, in line with organizational standards and legal requirements.
