Staff Product Manager, Lending

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring a Staff Product Manager for its Lending team in Singapore. The Lending team builds and scales credit and lending capabilities across embedded lending and first-party lending, covering product, credit risk, capital, compliance and go-to-market. As Staff Product Manager you will lead some of the company's most important lending opportunities, define strategy across large problem spaces and shape how Airwallex builds differentiated lending products globally.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy for significant parts of the lending platform, including embedded and first-party lending
• Lead ambiguous, high-impact initiatives across origination, underwriting, servicing, repayment, partner enablement and portfolio optimisation
• Identify market opportunities and customer segments, turn them into multi-quarter roadmaps and execution plans
• Partner with engineering, design, data, commercial, credit risk, legal, compliance, finance and operations leaders
• Shape trade-offs between growth, unit economics, customer experience, scalability and risk
• Build scalable product frameworks, decision principles and operating models
• Work with financial institutions, capital providers, data partners and regulators where needed
• Mentor other product managers and raise the standard of product craft and leadership

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience, including substantial product management in fintech, financial services, lending or other regulated domains
• Track record of leading large, ambiguous product areas from strategy through execution
• Deep experience building, scaling or evolving lending, credit or embedded finance products
• Strong commercial and analytical judgment, with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or higher; preferred qualifications include experience in embedded and first-party lending, credit risk and underwriting, SME banking regulation, and mentoring PMs
