Store Assistant

About the role

The Store Assistant will support daily operations of our retail outlet in Choa Chu Kang, reporting directly to the Store Manager. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will be expected to collaborate with team members, ensure compliance with store policies, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the shop floor, ensuring cleanliness, product presentation and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle stock replenishment, inventory checks and merchandising tasks.
• Assist customers, process sales transactions and address enquiries.
• Support the Store Manager in planning sales promotions and achieving targets.
• Maintain accurate daily reports on sales, stock levels and staffing.
• Monitor and record daily cash handling, assist in visual merchandising, and coordinate with suppliers for deliveries.

Required profile

• Fresh or entry‑level candidate with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate in Chinese or a local dialect.
• Willingness to work weekends as required.
• Ability to work in a team, good time‑management, and a proactive attitude.
