Strategic Sourcing Manager – New Product Development (Semiconductor)

About the role

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead supply chain and sourcing strategies for new product development projects within a leading semiconductor MNC. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and supply‑chain activities for NPD projects.
• Drive project planning, supplier management, risk mitigation and collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality.
• Manage new product introduction, supplier performance and manufacturing readiness.
• Develop project governance, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across global supply‑chain operations.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and provide regular updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Mandatory PMP certification.
• Strong project‑management experience in NPD/NPI, supply‑chain or PMO environments.
• Experience managing cross‑functional technical projects and supplier relationships.
• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia, East Asia and other regions as required.
