Strategy Manager - Travel Retailer

About the role

A global travel retailer, distributor and duty-free operator is looking for a Strategy Manager through its partner agency. As a key member of the regional team, you will build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to expand the company's footprint across Asia Pacific in all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in networking events to build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders across Asia Pacific and drive new business opportunities.
• Evaluate and analyse potential investment options and business opportunities by developing financial projections and scenario analysis across all channels in Asia Pacific.
• Analyse market trends and review annual reports, business models and business plans of competitors to support growth decisions.
• Develop a strategic roadmap to drive regional growth plans.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align on growth strategies and objectives, and develop strategies for current and future business model expansion.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration.
• At least 6 years of practical experience in retail or FMCG, including in-house or external consultancy experience.
• Excellent financial and analytical skills and sound business acumen.
• Strong communication, decision-making and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships.
• Multi-tasking ability and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio and Teams.
• Ability to create business presentations in storytelling format.
