Strategy Specialist - Group Strategy

About the role

Julius Baer is hiring a Strategy Specialist for its Group Strategy team, working 100% within the group. You will support the Group CEO and Executive Board in strategic matters, helping define the Group Strategy, manage the strategic cycle and support the leadership on strategic projects. The team combines corporate strategy and business development, with a focus on strong execution.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of the Group's long-term strategic direction, aligning strategic programmes across the organisation
• Lead and contribute to high-visibility Group-level strategic initiatives, providing analysis and recommendations
• Drive strategic intelligence through market, competitor and internal analyses
• Design and deliver strategic initiatives and projects from concept to implementation
• Support the strategic cycle, including preparing for strategy offsites, full-year and half-year results presentations
• Collaborate with the Front, Finance, COO and Communications teams on cross-unit projects
• Develop high-quality strategic content for senior management and the CEO, including presentations and reports

Required profile

• Top-tier university education, preferably in corporate strategy, finance or structured problem solving
• 3-6 years of experience at a leading strategy consultancy or an in-house strategy or corporate development function, ideally in financial services
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, initiative, discipline and execution focus
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team
• English proficiency required; German is an advantage
