Student Engagement Officer – Yishun

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Student Engagement Officer to join our team in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting students’ social‑emotional development and fostering positive school‑community relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide targeted interventions and mentoring for identified students.
• Build positive relationships to support social‑emotional well‑being and character development.
• Develop students’ SEL competencies such as self‑awareness, regulation, empathy and relationship skills.
• Equip students with self‑regulation, conflict‑resolution and communication strategies.
• Plan and facilitate restorative practices, including circles and peacemaking conversations.
• Support mediation for students in conflict and maintain home‑school partnerships.
• Train and coach staff in restorative practices.
• Observe, document and report student needs and progress, maintaining confidential records and weekly updates.
• Support preventive and developmental programmes and conduct termly programme reviews.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions using school data and feedback.

Required profile

• Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development or Youth Work.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working with children or youth.

Required skills

• Knowledge of social‑emotional learning frameworks.
• Experience with restorative practices and mediation.
• Ability to maintain confidential records and produce regular reports.
