Submarine Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Submarine Service Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The role involves hands‑on maintenance, inspections and support for submarine mechanical and marine diesel systems, ensuring compliance with safety and SUBSAFE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and inspections of submarine equipment in line with service requirements, safety standards and SUBSAFE procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical and marine diesel systems, including removal, servicing, installation and system tightness testing.
• Conduct joint inspections and acceptance with ship representatives and coordinate functional testing with ship crews.
• Replenish submarine supplies such as gases, fuel oil, lubricating oil and hydraulic oil.

Required profile

• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience; candidates without experience may be considered as training will be provided.
• Proficiency with mechanical tools and equipment including spanners, ratchet wrenches, lever blocks and chain hoists.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D assembly drawings and schematic diagrams.
