Summer Technology Analyst - Application Development, Singapore 2027

About the role

Citi's Summer Technology Analyst Program in Singapore is a full-time summer internship for students who want to build software in an agile environment and then return to Citi as a full-time technology analyst. The program starts in early June with training on the analyst role and Citi's culture, plus on-the-job training, a speaker series and networking. It is aimed at graduates who wish to grow into future technology leaders in the global financial industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop quality, scalable software solutions in an agile software development environment, based on business requirements.
• Write code that meets quality standards and support testing cycles and post-production deployment.
• Use the right tools to test and debug code and take part in peer code reviews.
• Join a cohort of new hires for shared training on the company, tools, processes and technical skills.
• Depending on the team, work in back-end (Java, Python, Spring Framework), front-end (React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5, Swift, Kotlin), generative AI and AI agents, or data analytics (Splunk, Tableau, Adobe Analytics).

Required profile

• Graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, management information systems or another tech-related field; GPA of 3.0 or better preferred.
• Proactive problem solver who uses generative AI to solve complex business problems.
• Global outlook, collaboration across cultures and time zones, and excellent communication skills.
• Project management, leadership, attention to detail and teamwork; prior agile experience desirable.
• Authorized to work in Singapore without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Required skills

• Ability to pass technical interviews with basic algorithmic programming exercises.
• Exposure to Java, Python, Spring, React, TypeScript, Angular, Swift, Kotlin, Splunk, Tableau and Adobe Analytics depending on team.
