Supply Chain Director (Operations)

About the role

A global semiconductor test and measurement company, with a strong presence in Singapore, is recruiting a Supply Chain Director to lead the build-out of a newly established regional operations organization and drive end-to-end supply chain transformation. The role sits in Procurement & Supply Chain, within Industrial / Manufacturing, and is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and develop a high-performing Supply Chain Network Operations organization.
• Design and implement operational governance frameworks, KPIs and performance management systems.
• Drive end-to-end customer delivery performance, service levels and operational reliability.
• Lead outsourced manufacturing operations while optimizing supply, capacity and inventory strategies.
• Partner with planning, procurement, manufacturing, quality, engineering and commercial teams to align business priorities.
• Develop risk mitigation, contingency planning and capacity expansion strategies across the supply chain network.
• Champion continuous improvement to improve productivity, cost efficiency, quality and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, outsourced manufacturing or related fields.
• Proven track record of building, transforming or scaling operational organizations and teams.
• Experience managing supply constraints, production ramp-ups, business growth and capacity expansion.
• Experience in complex, matrixed or multinational organizations; MBA or advanced degree advantageous.

Required skills

• S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory and capacity planning, and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to turn commercial objectives into operational execution strategies.
