System Engineer (Contract) – Up to SGD 6000

About the role

We are seeking a proactive System Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. You will support project delivery, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure smooth operation of Microsoft‑based systems across client sites in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and engineering team in delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Maintain project documentation and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders.
• Set up, configure, integrate and deploy databases, servers and virtualization platforms.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers, virtualization hypervisors and system backups.
• Support cybersecurity setup, vulnerability assessments and network switch configuration.
• Perform network checks, IP configuration and connectivity testing for project devices.
• Install, debug, test and troubleshoot IT systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, server health and network connectivity.
• Provide hardware, software, server and networking support to project teams and clients.
• Prepare technical presentations, documentation and training sessions for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, system engineering or project implementation.
• Hands‑on experience as a System Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and independent working abilities.
