Systems Administrator – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Systems Administrator for a global quantitative investment business in Singapore. The role combines direct user support with infrastructure administration, troubleshooting and project work, and requires collaboration with global colleagues and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person support for PC hardware, peripherals, software deployments, mobile‑device management, videoconferencing and AV equipment, including trading‑floor technology.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and non‑technical issues in collaboration with global teams and vendors.
• Support Windows PCs and servers, UNIX/Linux servers, mobile devices and communications infrastructure.
• Perform occasional data‑centre tasks and assist with storage, clustered computing and communications platforms.
• Investigate complex incidents, administer infrastructure‑level systems and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows enterprise environments and Microsoft 365.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware, software, desk‑side and trading‑floor support.
• Analytical mindset with curiosity to solve unfamiliar problems and improve processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Availability to work onsite Monday‑Friday with occasional overtime, weekend assignments and travel to Hong Kong or Shanghai.
