Tax Specialist

About the role

The Tax Specialist will manage tax-related matters across local and cross‑border operations, ensuring compliance while minimizing tax risks. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support corporate tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, and strategic tax initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax, withholding tax, and GST returns.
• Develop transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with local and international rules.
• Manage tax audits, respond to authority queries, and support periodic tax requests from headquarters.
• Compute current and deferred tax for financial reporting.
• Assist with employer reporting of employee income for tax authorities.
• Support implementation of Global Minimum Tax (BEPS 2.0 – Pillar Two) requirements.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities for cost savings while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Taxation, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant tax experience; manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws, including BEPS 2.0 developments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
