Head of KYC (Compliance)

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to head the Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) function across BIT’s global businesses. Reporting to the Head of AML, you will shape and continuously improve the KYC framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting scalable client onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the KYC team in Singapore and the offshore centre of excellence, overseeing client onboarding, periodic reviews, name screening and account maintenance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop, enhance and enforce KYC policies, procedures and standards in line with evolving regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Legal, Operations, Technology, Product, Customer Service and Business teams to drive compliance initiatives and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with the Head of AML and the Monitoring & Investigations team to ensure effective AML/CFT controls and thorough client due‑diligence.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders on onboarding and KYC matters, supporting BIT’s growth in the digital‑asset sector.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading KYC or compliance functions within financial services, preferably in digital‑asset or crypto environments.
• Strong knowledge of global KYC regulations, AML/CFT frameworks and best‑practice onboarding processes.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑jurisdictional teams and drive cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
