Technical Consultant – Full‑Stack Engineer (Senior)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full‑Stack Engineer / Technical Consultant to lead discovery, architecture and delivery for both greenfield and legacy modernisation projects across Singapore. You will collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions, champion quality engineering practices and build strong end‑to‑end capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and architecture design for greenfield and legacy modernisation projects, including microservices, event‑driven architecture, API‑first design and strangler patterns.
• Champion quality engineering through test strategies, code reviews, pair programming, TDD, refactoring and technical debt management.
• Develop production‑grade applications with strong test coverage and deploy using modern cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Define API contracts, integration patterns and conduct technical spikes or POCs to validate architecture decisions.
• Identify and communicate technical risks, trade‑offs and solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Establish monitoring and observability practices for reliable production systems.
• Mentor client engineers through pairing, coaching, workshops and constructive feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience covering the full development lifecycle.
• Proven experience in both greenfield development and legacy modernisation projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Consultancy or client‑facing experience is highly desirable.
