Technical Coordinator / Senior Technical Coordinator (Architecture)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Coordinator (or Senior Technical Coordinator) to lead architectural design coordination and regulatory compliance for projects in Singapore. The role involves developing design packages from concept to construction detail, managing authority submissions, and supporting the project team on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, schematic and detailed architectural designs, ensuring compliance with planning and building regulations.
• Interpret architectural sketches, specifications and produce CAD or manual drawings.
• Prepare and submit forms, drawings and information required for authority approvals, waivers and consultations throughout project stages.
• Liaise with consultants and the Project Director/Architect on building regulation matters and attend site or consultant meetings.
• Assist the Project Architect during site inspections and guide Junior Technical Coordinators where required.
• Act as Document Controller: manage drawing templates, maintain ISO standards, organise filing, archiving and retrieval of submission drawings, authority information and BIM models.
• Perform ad‑hoc project duties and other tasks as needed.

Required profile

• 2–7 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination or a similar role.
• Diploma in Architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of planning and building codes, regulatory submission processes and attention to detail.
• Organised, methodical and able to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Candidates with greater experience may be considered for a Senior Technical Coordinator position.
