Technical Lead / IT Manager – Freight Technology

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead / IT Manager to drive the digital transformation of our freight ecosystem. You will shape system architecture, lead automation initiatives and bridge the gap between logistics operations and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain comprehensive freight system architecture diagrams and define a technical roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, including database schema, UI/UX mockups, validation rules and audit logging frameworks.
• Build Power BI dashboards and manage the end‑to‑end AI lifecycle to automate manual freight processes.
• Oversee integration with third‑party logistics platforms and ERP systems such as SAP, manage SLAs and monitor critical KPIs.
• Prioritize work using data‑driven scoring (RICE/WSJF) and convert complex operational needs into actionable user stories.
• Lead technical transitions, vendor selection (RFP/RFI) and post‑implementation audits.

Required profile

• Background in supply chain, logistics or software development/data engineering.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in fast‑paced environments and deliver system migrations and go‑live support.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and comfortable experimenting with emerging technologies.
