Senior Engineer - Payment & Wallet

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Payments & Wallet team (PAW). You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance services that power our payments and wallet infrastructure, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration, optimize transaction workflows, and enhance platform reliability and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend services using Rails 7, Go, Sidekiq, REST, AWS, and Docker.
• Design and build high‑volume APIs used by frontends and external traders.
• Ensure long‑term code quality and drive architectural decisions for production systems.
• Manage and maintain custody solutions for digital assets, guaranteeing security and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers throughout product development.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years building scalable distributed systems with a strong background in Ruby (Go a plus).
• Understanding of good API practices.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and scoping solutions with teammates.
• Organized, proactive and able to manage own work.
• Knowledge of cryptography, blockchain security principles, and cryptocurrency compliance and regulatory frameworks.
