Technical Product Manager, Singapore Global Network

About the role

The Singapore Global Network (SGN) is a division of the Economic Development Board that builds a strong ecosystem of overseas Family, Friends and Fans for Singapore, coordinating across agencies to strengthen links to global business and talent communities. SGN is hiring a Technical Product Manager to join its team of technology professionals who use product management, design thinking and agile practices. You will support the development of the data lakehouse and member-facing digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Support the entire product lifecycle of assigned digital products, from planning to execution, in line with SGN strategy
• Understand user requirements and work with business units to develop the product vision
• Partner with stakeholders to define product features and functions
• Manage communications between cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into tasks for the engineering team
• Provide user support throughout the product life cycle, including user guides, and give Level 1 technical support to business users
• Run procurement exercises such as tenders and requests for proposals, and review proposals to decide whether to build in-house or outsource
• With the security team, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with government and EDB policies
• Set standards for reporting and documentation, and benchmark team performance

Required profile

• Some knowledge of project management methodology, such as Agile or Scrum
• Strong analytical skills, including pulling and analysing your own data
• Basic understanding of data modelling
• Understanding of UI/UX and user requirements gathering
• Business acumen, planning and communication skills
• Good to have: basic programming knowledge, experience in cross-division project and stakeholder management, and familiarity with government procurement processes

• Interest in AI integrations and agentic workflows (a plus)
